As Engineer-programmer at "BrainBee Engineering Group" in Moldova I:
- reverse-engineered auto diagnosis software for multiple brands of automobile,
- replicated software of diagnostic tools on the company's scan tool,
- extracted data from online resources for integration into our software.
We were writing C code for microcontrollers in an environment specially designed
for company's scan tool.
Sometimes we had to work with Assembler code directly.
We also worked with automobile networking, debugging and reverse-engineering communication between the vehicle and the diagnostic tools.
Our favorite IDE at BrainBee was PSPad.
The great thing about this IDE is the ability to write JavaScript or VBScript plugins,
which greatly improved the speed of handling big structures of data in C.
